The rough-toothed dolphin named Wally was found dead along the shores of Nacpan Beach in El Nido, Palawan last June 29, 2019. According to the dolphin’s post-mortem examination, it swallowed a non-biodegradable and non-digestive garbage bag—which got stuck in its stomach and prevented food to pass through, according to an article from CNN Philippines.

According to Ten Knots, animals have been eating and dying from the single-use plastics they have swallowed. It’s becoming worse everyday.
We have the power to prevent this situation from happening. It’s just that we don’t have that will power to prevent ourselves from single-use plastics, why? It’s because we still prefer convenience over thinking of the consequences of what we do. It’s sad but it’s the reality we face.
If we cannot stop ourselves from using single-use plastics then we can expect the possible extinction of species.
