How sturdy are Funk Trunk products?

From factory to delivery, we make sure that our products are the best possible versions of themselves for you. We cheer them on, whisper encouragements when necessary, and train them to make them strong and sturdy. But no, really. Our items undergo comprehensive and immersive quality control procedures that ensure that the item that gets to you is as sturdy as the tree it was recycled from.

 

What kind of wood is my item made of?

Our items are made from either responsibly-sourced and recycled bamboo and walnut. Wood scraps are turned into sawdust, which are then mixed with resin and reformed to make the gorgeous Funk Trunk item in your hands.

 

How long can I expect my Funk Trunk wooden item to last?

Like any wooden item, our products require your love and attention. We don’t recommend that you do any professional wrestling or other extreme sports while wearing them. For our wearable products, your natural oils polish and treat the wood, helping it look even better than when you bought it. Yup! Like wine, Funk Trunk products get even better with age. That said, unless throw it against a wall, you can expect your item to last you years and years. Hell, you might even get to include it in your will.

 

Do you do custom phone cases?

We used to carry wooden phone cases for Samsung units, but we’ve discontinued them. We now only carry wooden phone cases for Apple iPhones. We have no plans of including cases for Android phones anytime soon, but if we do, we promise, you’ll be the first to know.

 

Do you offer custom engraving?

We do offer custom engraving on all of our products except our eyewear (because reasons). We can laser engrave names and messages up to 20 characters—even simple logos for gifts or corporate giveaways! (Go check out our Wholesale and Corporate FAQ.)

 

PAYMENT AND SHIPPING

Does Funk Trunk deliver worldwide?

Yes, we deliver worldwide to most countries for a starting rate of $6 USD for our wooden smartphone cases and up to $80 USD for our heavier items like the Funkbox Bluetooth Speakers for Standard International Shipping.

We also offer $30 Express Shipping via DHL.

We send all Standard International parcels via Xend Express International Courier, and all Express Shipping parcels via DHL USA.

The tracking number that was given to me does not work. What's up with that?

For local deliveries fulfilled via LBC, the tracking number is usually sent within a day or 2 of the item being processed after payment has been received. Once you have received the tracking number via electronic mail, you may use LBC Express site to track your shipment.

For Standard International shipments, our local courier passes on your package to your regional postal service (USPS for NA orders, Postnord/SingPost for EU and Asia) to arrive at your country.

The original tracking link we sent you provides an international tracking number that you can use to track your order more accurately once it it is with USPS/PostNord/SingPost. 

 

Your international tracking number can be located in your original tracking link found on your e-mail. 

How do I pay for my awesome Funk Trunk products?

We accept credit card(via 2CheckOut), PayPal and bank deposit through Bank of the Philippine Islands as mode of payment. We also offer Cash On Delivery via LBC. 

For international bulk orders, we do accept wire transfer payments. To arrange a payment, please contact sales@funktrunk.ph and we'll be happy to assist you.

Why do prices change at checkout?

Our website is enabled for you to view our prices in various different currencies. You can select your currency by clicking the drop down located at the top right hand corner of our website. 

Please note, all transactions are processed in USD. The prices you see on our product pages and in your cart will be in currency of your choice. However, at checkout our system converts all prices to back to USD. Please be assured that you will be charged in your currency exactly as per the amount shown on the product pages.

 

How are the items shipped and how much do I pay?

We have a courier that delivers within 2-3 days for deliveries within Metro Manila and 3-5 for provincial deliveries. Standard Shipping within the Philippines is Php 60 for within Metro Manila and Php 120 for outside Metro Manila. We do offer free shipping within Metro Manila for orders over Php 1,000 and free provincial shipping for orders over Php2,000.

For international shipping, Standard International Shipping is an accelerated airmail service that is coursed through the Singapore Post postal system or Philpost. Unlike regular registered mail, this service offers detailed online tracking service from pick-up to delivery in 88 countries so you know where you package is every step of the way. International shipping rates will range from $6USD for small items like Wooden Smartphone Cases and would go as high as $30USD for heavier items like Wooden Watches and Wooden Sunglasses. We also do Free Shipping Internationally via Philpost if you purchase above $180USD.

So how long before my Funk Trunk product is delivered?

Sadly, we aren’t robots. We’re a small team that takes care of a lot of things ourselves, so please allow us one (1) day upon payment to process your order, and two to three (2-3) if you have an engraving request. Rest assured that we do our best to work hard and fast for you. For deliveries within the Philippines, LBC Express takes 2-3 days within Metro Manila and 3-5 days outside of Metro Manila.

Standard International Shipping service takes an average of 7-15 business days for us to deliver to your selected country. Should you opt for something faster, we do offer DHL services which will take 2-3 days to arrive at your doorstep. 

RETURNS POLICY

What is Funk Trunk's Return Policy?

Funk Trunk is dedicated to give you the best products and impeccable customer service.If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for exchange - the choice is yours. This is our satisfaction guarantee. For more information, please refer to our Warranty and Replacement page.

How do I return my item?

To return an item, simply email us at support@funktrunk.ph so we can allocate you a Return Authorisation (RA) number and provide you with a return shipping address. Then all you have to do is ship it back to us. For more information, please refer to our Warranty and Replacement page.

What do I do if I receive a defective item?

All of our products are handmade with care and are inspected before being shipped to ensure the highest quality wooden products are being sent to you. In the unlikely event that your product is faulty, you can return it within 30 days from the date of purchase to be replaced, repaired or refunded.

Where do I enter the discount code?

The discount code is entered at the very start of the check out process. There will be a discount code box on your left pane where you can enter the appropriate code.

Is it safe to purchase from an online store?

Yes, purchasing from our online store is extremely safe and secure. Our website uses Secure Socket Layering (SSL), an encryption technology that ensures safe internet transmission of your personal information. We do not store your credit card details nor do we share your personal information with any third party.

As additional precaution for international buyers, PayPal has a security feature that gets you your refund in the event that you do not get your item. 

Ultimately, we are dedicated to providing good quality products and we would dare not risk ruining our brand equity just to make a few quick bucks.
